The Eldorado Eagles baseball team are headed into the playoffs after completing the regular season with 9-3 record and finishing in a tie for the runner-up spot in District 5-2A with the Reagan County Owls.

The Eldorado Lady Eagles defeated the Santa Anna Lady Mountaineers 12-10 on Tuesday, April 18th in Santa Anna.

Nine EHS tracksters advanced from the Area Track Meet held in Sonora on Thursday, April 13th, to compete in the Region 1-2A Meet slated for April 28-29 on the Campus of West Texas A&M University in Canyon.

EHS athletes competed at the District 7-2A Track Meet on Wednesday & Thursday, April 5th & 6th in Sterling City. Eleven of them advanced to the Area Track Meet in Sonora on Thursday, April 13th.

The Eldorado Eagles baseball team hosted the Ozona Lions on Friday, April 7th and claimed a 4-1 victory at Eagle Field. The second part of the home & home series between the district rivals was played Tuesday, April 11th at Lions Field in Ozona where the Warbirds claimed the 7-2 victory.

Eldorado Middle School boys and girls competed in the District Track Meet in Ozona on Monday, April 3rd.

The Eldorado Eagles baseball team traveled Big Lake on Friday, March 24th, to take on the Reagan County Owls and to claim a 7-5 victory. The Eagles then hosted the Owls on Tuesday, March 28th at Eagle Field where the Owls took their revenge on a cool blustery day by a margin of 12-6.

Eldorado High School sent a small group of athletes to compete in the 64th annual San Angelo Relays on March 24th & 25th where they claimed medals while setting several meet and school records. Nino Tambunga, Jessica Garcia and Logan Prater claimed a total of five gold medals at the meet.

The Eldorado Lady Eagles powerlifting team won the Texas State Powerlifting Championship in Division 1A- 2A at the meet held Wednesday, March 15th in Frisco, Texas by the Texas High School …

The Eldorado Lady Eagles placed fourth as a team with 54 total points at the ASU Spring Break Track Meet held Thursday, March 16th at LeGrand Stadium on the ASU campus in San Angelo. Teams competing ranged in size from 1A to 6A.

Ernesto Nava and Vinny Pina are advancing to the State Powerlifting Meet in Abilene on Saturday, March 25th at the Taylor County Expo Center. The pair earned the trip with outstanding performances at the Region 5 Division 4 Powerlifting Meet in Kingsville on March 7th where the Eldorado powerlifting team placed 10th overall from a field of 147 lifters.

EHS Lady Eagles powerlifters competed in the THSWPA Regional Region 1, Division 3 Meet in Shamrock on March 3rd. The Lady Eagle lifters took first place as a team against 138 lifters.

Eldorado High School track teams competed in the Plateau Relays held at the Larry Mitchell Stadium on Thursday, March 2nd. JV and varsity boys teams both finished in first place with JV finishing with 214 points and varsity claiming 225 points. JV girls finished in third place with 56 points and varsity girls took second place with 159 points.

The powerlifting “Last Chance to Qualify” tri-meet was held in EHS weight room on February 24, 2023. The Eldorado Eagles placed first in the meet with a total of 39 points. Christoval and San Angelo TLC Academy also participated.

First track meet of 2023 Eldorado Eagle and Lady Eagles competed in the Blizzard Relays on February 23rd. Schools participating were Miles, Cross Plains, Eldorado, Winters, Christoval, Concho Valley Track.

The Eldorado Eagles baseball team, coached by William Robledo, opened the 2023 season with an appearance in the Harper Longhorn Tournament on February 24-25.

The Eagle Tennis team attended the Reagan County Winter Classic Thursday and Friday, Feb. 16-17. Both the JV and varsity squads had great outings. They won some tough matches continuing to move along throughout the tournament bracket.

EHS powerlifters competed in the 2023 Ozona Lion Invitational Powerlifting Meet on February 11th in Ozona. In all, 56 girls and 54 varsity boys participated.
