Eldorado High School and Middle School cross country teams participated in the Sonora Invitational Cross Country Meet on Wednesday, August 28th at the golf course in Sonora.

The first football action of the 2024 season came on Thursday, August 29th when the Eldorado Eagles junior varsity team hosted the Christoval Cougars JV at Larry Mitchel Stadium.

The 2024 Stride on the Divide Cross County Meet, hosted by Eldorado High School, was held Wednesday, August 21st at the Eldorado Golf Course in 100 degree weather. There were 405 high school runners competing with another 178 middle school runners competing later that afternoon.

Coach William Robledo was named this week as Schleicher County ISD’s athletic director, succeeding Chad Tutle, who resigned at the end of the school year.

The Eldorado Eagles baseball team swept the Ozona Lions in a home-and-home series to remain undefeated in District 5-2A. The series began on Friday, April 5th in Ozona, where the Eagles won 11-1, and concluded at Eagle Field in Eldorado on Tuesday, April 9th with an 8-2 victory.
