Hisidoro Aguilar Belman, Sr., 92 years old of Eldorado, Texas passed away August 20, 2022, in San Angelo, TX.
Hisidoro A. Belman was born April 4th, 1930, in Eldorado, Texas to Mr. Martin Belman Sr. and Prudencia Aguilar Belman.
Mr. Belman (Lolo) took over his father’s sheep shearing business at an early age of 16, when his father passed leaving to assist his mother to raise his siblings.
He continued to sheep shear within the states of Texas, California, Arizona, South Dakota, Montana, and Nevada taking his family. He met and married his wife, Luz Hernandez Belman in El Centro, California and settled in Eldorado, TX.
Mr. Belman previously worked for Texas Department of Transportation in the construction of interstate I-10 in the 60s. He also worked at the cemetery in the city of Dixon, California. Mr. Belman along with his wife owned a restaurant in Eldorado, Texas.
Mr. Belman enjoyed serving the community making himself available to anyone in need. He volunteered his services with the Radio Venta de America delivering emergency supplies in disaster situations.
He was a lifetime member for the Knights of Columbus within the Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church of Eldorado, TX. Mr. Belman enjoyed spending time with family and friends attending football games, being an avid fan of the Eldorado Eagles and Central High School.
Mr. Belman is survived by his sons, Victor Belman and wife Sylvia Belman, Hisidoro H. Belman, Jr. his daughters, Cecilia Castaneda and husband Baltazar Castaneda, and Corinna Belman Villa and husband Orlando Villa, siblings, Linda Lewis and husband Dennis Lewis, Lidia Guerrero and Josie Knight, twelve grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and also numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Belman is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Prudencia Belman, wife, Luz Belman; daughters Veronica Shockley and Lourdes Belman, brothers, Miguel Belman, Demetrio Belman, Martin Belman, Jr., sisters, Emma Gonzalez, and Maria Torres.
A rosary will be held 4:00pm on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Harper Funeral Home in San Angelo, TX. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, August 29, 2022, at Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Eldorado, TX. Burial to follow at Eldorado Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jon Belman, Moses Belman, Cristino Hernandez, Ernesto Rangel, Reynaldo Pasillas, and Estevan Pasillas. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Lopez and Bobby Dale Millican.
