I’m gonna miss my buddy Tom Cox who passed away Dec 31. I didn’t know Tom very well at Baylor. He was in psychology and journalism. I was in English and drama. I knew him, of course. On January 27th, 8th grade Mighty Eagle Band members, Jocelyn Massey, Jonathan McGee, Anali Reyes, and Kali Soto performed at the ATSSB All-Region Middle School Band Concert at the Ballinger High School Auditorium under the direction of clinician Barry Morgan, band director at Lubbock Cooper MS. Mr. Morgan is a distinguished director who has had multiple appearances in the finals at the Texas State Marching Band Contest as well as 17 UIL Sweepstakes Awards.
