AEP Texas has deployed over 100 full-time employees and over 200 contract employees to Louisiana to assist with the Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) storm response effort. Hurricane force winds slammed into the area early Friday. AEP Texas and SWEPCO are part of American Electric Power Corporation.
