Early Voting will begin in the Republican and Democratic Primary Runoff elections on Monday, June 29th.

Early votes may be cast in person at the County Clerk’s office in the Schleicher County Courthouse, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon and from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Early voting continues each weekday through July 10th, except Friday, July 3rd, when the courthouse will be closed in recognition of Independence Day.

Republicans will be deciding between Raul Reyes and Tony Gonzalez in their bid to retain the Texas 23rd Congressional District seat currently held by Will Hurd. The winner will face Democrat Gina Ortiz Jones

Democrats will decide between MJ Hegar and Royce West for their nominee to face U.S. Senator John Cornyn. They will also choose between Roberto R. “Beto” Alonzo and Chrysta Castaneda to be their nominee for Railroad Commissioner. The winner will face Republican James “Jim” Wright.
