Back in the 1970s I was ranching in Southern Pecos County. This was rocky, limestone canyon country and predators were so bad that I had hired a professional trapper. Andy Allen came out of the South Texas country and was an excellent trapper. I’ve lost count of the lions, coyotes and bobcats that he caught while working for me but this is one of those stories.
