Sylvia Claudine Smith, of Eldorado, Texas lost her battle with stage four bone and lung cancer on Sunday July 22, 2018 at the age of 63 in her home surrounded by family and friends.

Sylvia was born September 17, 1954 in Hamlin, Texas to her loving parents Roberta Lee and Henry Thomas Lee.

Sylvia along with son Tony Aycock and daughter Angela Aycock moved to Eldorado in November of 1981. There she raised her children and worked hard at numerous jobs. Which included Lee Roustabout Service, where Sylvia worked with an “all women pit lining crew.” She was a caregiver for home health and worked in Sonora at the nursing home. Sylvia loved helping people and enjoyed many years serving people as a waitress. She waitressed at Casa Arispe, Betos #1, in Sonora, Betos #2 in Eldorado, Rosas Cafe, Jo Jo’s Cafe, Texaco making pizza and she managed the Eagle Cafe.

Sylvia was also an amazing cook, she was hard working, loving, caring, she was very independent and always there for everyone. The joy of her life was spending time with family and her furry babies.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Donald Lee and her great grandson Alster Aycock.

Sylvia is survived by her brother Benny Lee, her soul mate for the past 36 years Joe Lee Luttrell, her son Tony Aycock, and daughter Angela Aycock. Grandchildren; Chasity Willis, Bryon Aycock, Jessi Taylor, Alexandra Alexis Marie Aycock, and Amanda Nicole Tingle. Great grandchildren; Terra, Tye, Troy, Twins Jaden and Kaden, Kinsey, Tyson, Patrick and Zay. Sylvia will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all those she served.

A celebration of life service is planed for 10:00 a.m. Friday July 27, 2018 at the Brushy Top Cowboy Church, 5424 S. Hwy 277, Eldorado, Texas. Reverend Daniel Thiebaud will officiate.
