Rhonda (Smith) Corbell, born July 20, 1955, passed gracefully and peacefully from her Earthy home February 28, 2019. Rhonda was surrounded by loved ones.

She was a long-time resident in Eldorado before moving to Brady to be close to her grandchildren.

Rhonda was born to Mary and Lee Roy Smith. She married Robert Allan Corbell, the love of her life, February 5, 1976.

Rhonda was full of life and loved people. She loved her family and friends deeply. When you speak of Rhonda you speak of love, care, and compassion. She loved spending her days with her grandchildren. Rhonda touched many hearts. Rhonda never let anyone leave her home hungry or without a hug. She always had enough love and food for everyone. Her heart and home were always open. She leaves us with so many wonderful memories. If she called you friend, you were family.

Her survivors include her dear husband, Allan Corbell; her children, Jason Corbell and Shannon Hernandez; her grandchildren, Kacie Jo Corbell, Ryder Corbell and Shiloh Hernandez; her niece, Michelle Nicar and husband Danny; her nephews, Josh Smith, Ronny Smith and wife Eureka; her aunt Jean Smith; great nieces, Hayden Nicar and Kodee Smith; great nephews, Justin Gonzales and Bryce Smith; special loved ones, David Corbell and family, Betsy Knight Gonzales, Erin Barnes Corbell, Adam Hernandez and Jordan Boggs, Will Baker and Josephine Medrano, and so many others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Lee Roy Smith; brother Don Smith; sister Jackie Smith; uncles Red Smith and Barney Smith; mother and father-in-law, Alma and Boots Corbell; nephews, Emilio Santellano and Daniel Nicar, Whom brought great joy to her life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to “Hope from the Heart” P.O. Box 1207 Brady, TX 76825 to assist others in their journey and path with cancer. Rhonda would love for everyone to help others in their time of need. “Hope from the Heart” is an organization that’s so dear to Rhonda’s family.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
