Jay Lee Chatham Jr. was born November 17, 1947 and went to be with our Lord on November 1, 2021. He was surrounded by family in his final moments at the Schleicher County Nursing Home, in Eldorado.
Jay was born in San Angelo, Texas, to Jay Lee Chatham Sr. and Mamie Latimer Dixon. He worked at Ethicon in San Angelo until retiring in 2010.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Vickie Chatham, and their children Jason and Staci Chatham, Michelle and James Morehead, Aaron and Britnee Chatham, Joshua and Deann Chatham, and his brother Jay Alfred and Marsha Chatham.
He has 15 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
He spent his life leading others to the Lord through his living testimony. His family is happy to know he is dancing on streets of gold in the presence of his Creator, no longer bound by earthly chains.
