“Eppy” was born on July 8, 1956 in Remolino, Coahuila, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents Herlinda and Epigmenio Sanchez, Sr. He is survived by his sons, Jamie Sanchez and wife Veronica of San Angelo, Jessie Sanchez and wife Valerie of Eldorado, daughters Liza Sanchez of San Angelo, and Lindy Sanchez and Roy Davalos also of Eldorado. Brother Heliodoro Sanchez and wife Sylvia of Eldorado, sisters Maria Ramirez of San Angelo, and Luz Valero and husband Robert of Eldorado, and eight grandchildren.

Eppy was the type of person who never shied away from hard work. He first worked alongside his father where he learned the skills of ranching, which he appreciated throughout his life. As an adult, Eppy started his career in oil and gas construction, where he was able to work along-side his brother Heliodoro. He enjoyed sharing his years of knowledge to help those new to the industry. As a father and grandfather, he was proud of the type of people that his sons, daughters, and grandchildren had become. For those who loved him, he will be missed but never forgotten, for we know that he now rests in the hands of God.

Pallbearers will be Amiah Sanchez, Emily Sanchez, Jessie Sanchez Jr., Korbyn Gonzalez, Jake Zuniga, Jamie Sanchez and Jessie Sanchez, Sr, and Roy Davalos.

Honorary pallbearers will be Braylon Sanchez, Dillin Uranga, Liza Sanchez and Lindy Sanchez.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff of Eldorado and Eden nursing homes, and to the nursing staff of Solaris Hospice and Kindred Hospice.

Services are at 11:00 am on Friday, October 30, 2020, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Joseph Vathaloor officiating.

Eppy’s final resting place will be the Eldorado Cemetery.
