Dionicio Fuentes III, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 due to a hard-fought battle against COVID-19.

He was a loving husband, father, Pops, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Donny, as he is known to many, was born on June 4, 1971 in Eldorado, Texas to Dionicio Jr. “Nicho” and Olivia Fuentes. He lived in Eldorado, Texas his entire life and was raised to be a proud fighting Eagle.

Eldorado is where he also met and married the love of his life, his wife of 27 years, Jessica. They have two wonderful children and two precious grandchildren together.

Donny’s greatest joy in life was living to love his family. No matter the circumstance, he was always there to support them and be their biggest fan.

From 1992 to 1999, Donny served in the U.S. National Guard and had many stories to tell of his time serving his country.

Throughout his life, Donny had a passion for sports and spent countless hours volunteering his time to coach young athletes in youth sports. Through his volunteerism, he touched so many lives and left a great and lasting impression on them.

He was a loving, kind, amazing, funny and gentle person and no one was a stranger in his eyes. He loved to love people.

He is survived by his wife Jessica Fuentes, his daughter Abby Ramos and husband Dustin, his son Deonn Fuentes; his grandsons who he loved and adored so much Devin and Carson Ramos; his parents Nicho and Olivia Fuentes; his brother Leon Fuentes and wife Sandy, his sister Hope Fuentes and her partner Jason Pauly; his mother-in-law Lidia Perez; his sister-in-law Chelsey Castillo and husband Ryan; his brother-in-law Andy Perez and partner Victoria Torres; and his nieces and nephews who loved him very much Ryanna, Alexis, Amare, Pierson, Zoe, Paisley, Noah, Micah, and Driver.

Services will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eldorado High School gymnasium. Internment will follow in the Eldorado Cemetery.
