Our beloved husband, dad & papa Allan Wayne Cook went home to be with the Lord Friday April 22, 2016. Allan was born June 27, 1955 to Ben & Donna Cook in Anadarko, Oklahoma. As a child he grew up in Spearman, TX before eventually settling in Eldorado as an adult.
He married his soul mate Carrie Cook July 11, 1997 after 13 years together. Allan lived his life as a dedicated family man who worked many long, hard hours to give all he could to those he loved. He enjoyed being out on the lake, camp/fishing trips with his family & most of all quality time spent loving on his grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his father Ben Cook, paternal grandfather Slim Cook, maternal grandfather Bill Taylor and wife Jerri, sister Anita Brooks and nephew Brandon.
He is survived by his partner of 32 years and best friend Carrie Cook; his four children Walter Wagner and Samantha Romero, Jay Wagner and wife Cherri, Jessica Cook, and Coy Cook and wife Brittani; as well as nine grandsons and two granddaughters who were the light of their papa’s life.
He is also survived by his mother Donna Cook; sisters Sandra and husband Robert, Rita and husband Allen, Kathy and husband Robert, Sherrie and husband Al, Carrie; and brother Rex Cook.
