The Eldorado Eagles defeated the Menard Yellowjackets 48-0 Friday, November 2nd, and took over the lead in District 8-2A with one game left to play in the 2018 regular season.

The Eldorado Eagles defeated the Rocksprings Angoras 30-3 and moved to 3-0 in district play. The win secures a playoff berth for the Eagles and the team looks to improve its playoff seeding as they host the Menard Yellowjackets Friday night at Larry Mitchel Stadium.

The Eldorado Middle School Eagles played an exciting game against the Rocksprings Angoras on Thursday, October 25th at Larry Mitchel Stadium and came from behind to claim a 28-24 win.

That’s how one-sided the game was on Friday night, October 12th, as the Eldorado Eagles claimed a district win over the Irion County Hornets at O.K. Wolfenbarger Field in Mertzon. The Eagles amassed 422 yards of offense while holding the Hornets to minus five yards on the night.

The Eldorado Eagles boys cross country team will compete at the Region 1-2A Cross Country Meet in Lubbock on Monday, October 22nd. They advanced to the Regional Meet based on their performance in the District 7-2A Meet held Wednesday, October 10th at San Angelo State Park.

The Eldorado Eagles defeated the Irion County Hornets 52-0 in Mertzon Friday night in the District 8-2A opener.

The Eldorado Eagles had no opponent last week and still managed to break into the top 25 in the statewide Harris poll. They came in at 22 among the 91 teams competing in 2A Division II.

Eldorado Middle School combined its 7th and 8th grade teams on Thursday, September 27th as they took on the McCamey Badgers in Eldorado. McCamey didn’t have enough numbers in either grade to play 7th and 8th grade games so the teams were combined.

The Eldorado Eagles JV got a big win over the Reagan County Owls JV on Thursday, September 20th, bringing their season record to 2-2.

The 7th Grade Eldorado Eagles are off to a 2-0 start on the season after beating the Reagan County Owls 26-12 on Thursday, September 20th at Larry Mitchel Stadium.

Heavy rains throughout the week flooded the Eldorado Eagles practice field and prohibited the team from practicing outside the Eagle Gym for their game with Winters.Rainfall totals between 9-10 inches eventually forced the game to be moved from Larry Mitchel Stadium in Eldorado to Old Bobcat Stadium in San Angelo where the Eagles hosted the Blizzards.

The Eldorado Eagles football game with the Winters Blizzards on Friday, September 7th has been moved to San Angelo due to heavy rain in Eldorado.  The game, which was slated to be Eldorado's homecoming game, will be played at Old Bobcat Stadium at 1000 Pulliam Street in San Angelo.
