Tammy H. Truelove, 58, of San Angelo passed away April 3, 2022. She was born at Shannon Hospital on January 12, 1964 to Charles Ray Hawkins, Sr. and Peggy Laverne (Parker) Hawkins. She married Alan Ray Truelove, Sr. on May 31, 1980 in San Angelo, Texas and have been married for 42 years. She is survived by two children, Alan Ray Truelove, Jr. (Melissa) and Latasha Truelove. Her grandchildren include Dustin Truelove, Lavonda Truelove, Faith Truelove, Wyatt Truelove, Brooklyn Truelove and Becca Harrison, Jonathan Brenneis. Tammy’s siblings and in-laws include, Pamela Carr, Chrystal Roman (Jose), Shelia Martin (Arthur), Charles Ray Hawkins, Jr. (Terri), Ronnie Truelove (Leanne), Robby Truelove (Audrey), Teresa Baker, and her parent in laws, Robby and Helen Truelove.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Ray, Sr. and Peggy Laverne Hawkins and a granddaughter, Serenity Truelove.
She will always be remembered for always being a mom to all the kids she came into contact with. She always made everyone laugh when she cracked jokes about the past. She loved being around her family, especially seeing her grandchildren, even more so during her favorite time of the year; Christmas and Thanksgiving. She loved to go camping, fishing and hunting, but most of all she loved being a wife, mom and grandma. She is loved by so many and she will be truly missed by all who truly loved her laugh and her big smile. Tammy was always bigger than life itself, she had a big heart and loved everyone.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at a later date.
