Milton Eugene Fitts, 64, passed away on April 12, 2019 surrounded by family.

Milton was born on August 22, 1954 to Jeraldine “Jeri” Weddle and 1st Lt. Charles Milton Fitts in San Angelo.

He was a master carpenter, avid golfer, rancher, and laid back guy. He could be found in his shop, or out with his longhorns, or at the golf course with one of his golfing buddies Norman, Joe, or Joe Mac. As life moved forward, he and Sharon became Nana and Grumps adding to a role in life that brought him great joy.

Milton is survived by his wife, Sharon Fitts; three children, Watonya Gipson and husband Bob of Kentucky, Charles “Chuck” Fitts and wife Marla of Junction, and Angela “Angi” Fitts and George of Emory; his mother, Jeri Whitten of Lubbock; five siblings Brenda Seals and husband Mark, Lewis Whitten and wife, Larresia, Sherri Landry and husband Ted, Clay Whitten and wife Gina, and Martha “JoJo” Whitten; mother-in-law, Chloe House, and 3 sibling-in-laws Andre Rabe, Ginger Rogers and husband Donnie, and Ron House; his grandchildren, Luke, Elizabeth, Lacie, Ashton, Lanie, Alexzandria, Lexie, and Michelle; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Milton is preceded in death by his father, 1st Lt. Charles Milton Fitts, his dad, Hal Whitten, his father-in-law, Dale House; and three grandsons, David, Kristopher, and Paul.

Family visitation will be on June 8 at 2:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Eldorado.

Graveside services for Milton Fitts will be held on June 8 at 4:00 p.m. at the Eldorado Cemetery.
