Jerry Lee Carlman, a former Eldorado resident and a 1959 EHS graduate, died Sunday, January 24th in Mason, Texas.
He was born April 27, 1941 in Great Bend, Kansas to Emmett and Helen Carlman. The family came to West Texas following World War II where his father worked in the oil industry.
He attended school in Odessa, Big Lake and Barnhart before graduating Eldorado High School where he had been a gifted student athlete.
He attended Angelo State University and North Texas State where he obtained a degree in psychology.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Mary, former wife Susan and his siblings, Terry Carlman and Kathy Bohn, both of Austin.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the River of Life Church, 217 College Street in Mason, Texas. Services will be held in the gymnasium to allow for social distancing.
