Samuel Galindo Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday October 15th, 2020. Funeral services were held at the Schleicher County Cemetery Chapel.

Samuel Galindo Jr. was born on May 29th, 1967 in Sonora, Texas. He grew up in Sonora, and was the first born of five to Mary and Samuel Galindo. It was there that he met Velma Conatser Villanueva, and they married on January 9th, 1989. They were married for 31 years.

He proudly served in the Army Reserve (1987-1988) as well as the United States Navy (1989-1993). Samuel loved his country and his family he was a passionate man full of life.

He was dedicated to checking in on everyone he loved. He was a great guitar player, and artist. His love for his family showed through his constant jokes, and desire to make people laugh. For example, calling himself the “Aztec Warrior.” His heart was big, and he would give you the shirt off of his back or anything else he thought you might need. The difficulties he faced in this life were not as great as the God he believed in.

Memorials can be made to Temple Gethsemane Assembly of God Attn: Peter Thornton, PO Box 288, Eldorado TX, 76936, or charity of your choice.

Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
