Michael Edward Reynolds, 71, of Austin, Texas passed away at his home on August 4, 2020.
Mike was born April 12, 1949 to F. Joe Reynolds and Rosalyn Jones Reynolds in San Angelo, Texas. Mike spent his childhood on the family ranch near Corona, New Mexico. He was a cadet at New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell where he graduated from high school and junior college. He then studied at Texas Tech University and graduated with a BBA in Finance. He was employed by Ford Motor Credit for many years and then became an independent insurance adjuster.
Mike lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his kind and compassionate spirit.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosalyn and Joe Reynolds and brother Ronald Joseph Reynolds. He is survived by his daughter Ashley Wittenburg and husband Boogie and grandchildren Will, Brooke and Ty; sister Cindy Scherer and husband Pete and children Scott, Kimberly, and Brian; and sister Marilyn Naylor and children Suzann and Mitch.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Schleicher County Cemetery in Eldorado, Texas. The Rev. Joe McGee of First Presbyterian Church of Eldorado will officiate.
