Eldorado’s varsity cross country teams competed in the Lubbock ISD XC Invitational Meet on September 17th at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock. That’s the same course where the Regional Cross Country Meet will be held on October 24th.

The EHS varsity boys placed 5th as a team with a score of 146. There where 127 runners in all at the meet with Eldordo runners placing behind state-ranked teams like Sundown.

Individual results for the Eagles varsity boys were as follows: (16) Andrew McGee, 19:38.2; (34) Jaxon Hight, 20:37.9; (39) Ram Leija, 20:51.0; (40) Jordan Blackmon, 20:51.5; (44) Roman Guadarrama, 21:07.9; (48) Roy Davalos, 21:20.2; and (60) Ryley Height, 21:53.9.

The Lady Eagles ran the course for the first time. Their individual results were: (66) Mallory Okerson; (122) Addie Walling; (134) Destiny Dominguez; and (135) Madaline Valeriano.

Eldorado’s cross country teams will compete on Friday, Sep. 23rd at Round Rock, followed by runs in Ballinger on Oct. 5th and the District 7-2A Meet in Ozona on Oct. 12th.
