George Arispe was sworn in as Mayor of Eldorado on Monday night, replacing John Nikolauk who passed away on July 25th after 27 years in office. Arispe, who represented Ward #3 and served as the city’s mayor pro tem, was elected by his fellow council members. The oath of office was administered by City Secretary Melissa Truelove. He will serve out the remainder of Nikolauk’s term which expires in May of 2019.
