The Ministerial Alliance of Eldorado invites you to welcome this Easter with a Service of Celebration. The service will be held April 20, at the First National Bank Gazebo at 7:00 a.m. Refreshments following the service.

Sydney Covarrubiaz will likely remember last Friday night’s game against Miles for a long, long time. She scored five runs after putting herself in scoring position with four extra-base hits, a double and three triples. Covarrubiaz walked in the second inning as she refused to let the Lady Bulldogs keep her off the base paths.
The Lady Eagles managed 19 hits in the game, eight of them for extra bases.
The Schleicher County Commissioners went behind closed doors for nearly two hours on Monday, April 14th to speak with County Attorney Clint Griffin regarding personnel matters. The commissioners returned to open session without taking formal action on the matter.
Road Superintendant Mark Graves advised the commissioners that a motor had seized up in one of the county’s trucks. He said it would cost some $23,000 to overhaul the engine.

The Eldorado Eagles baseball team split a pair of games last week, but managed to hang on to a share of the lead in district.

The Eagles defeated Menard 11-6 on Tuesday, April 8th in Menard after surging with four runs in the third inning and following up with a three-run fourth inning.
