Irma Day, 91, passed away on March 9, 2011 in San Angelo.Irma was born in Thomaston, GA on April 28, 1919. In 1945, she married Ralph Day of New York and moved to Midland, TX, where she began her career as a registered nurse. After her husband died in 1966, she pursued her Master’s and became a nursing instructor at Odessa College.She is survived by her children, Graeme Day, Gordy and Angela Day, and Dawna Day of San Angelo; her sisters, Phyllis Gilbert, and Cecil and Gene Day of Thomaston, GA; grandchildren, Larson Day, Annalisa Day, and Lorelei Day of San Angelo.
Graveside service was Friday, March 11 in Midland, TX.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Denver Marsh for years of care and Dr. Powell for recent care of Irma.
Eldorado - Auti “Sonny” Turner passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2011, after having pneumonia.
Sonny was born in Nolan County, Texas on august 15, 1933 to Auti and Agnes Turner, who will meet him a the doors of heaven.
He graduated from Roscoe High School and attended management training at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. He served as president of the Lions Club and served on the Eldorado School board. Sonny worked at Southwest Texas Electric Coop for 25 years.

Juanita Taylor journeyed to her beloved "Beulah Land," Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, in Abilene, Texas.
Juanita was born June 28, 1920, in Gouldbusk, Texas, to Wade and Annie Thomas. She married Delbert Hansen Taylor May 17, 1937.
Making Eldorado, Texas, their home, they raised two sons and were happily married 63 years. She moved to Abilene in 2001, to be nearer to family.
A chapel service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at Kerbow Funeral Home in Eldorado. Pastor Steve Rowe of First United Methodist Church will be officiating. Interment will follow in Eldorado Cemetery.
Fannie Elizabeth (Sellman) Wade passed away peacefully on February 14th, 2011 in Junction, Tx., where she had been residing after a recent stay in the hospital. Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Sonora. Burial will follow in Sonora Cemetery.
Fannie was born on the 11th day of December, 1924 in McCulloch Co., Tx. near the town of Brady, to John Thomas (Johnny) Sellman and Myrtle Dulcina (Burk) Sellman. The Sellman family moved to Sutton Co., Tx. in 1930, where Johnny and Myrtle estabilished ranching operations. Fannie spent the rest of her life as a resident of Sutton County. A major accomplishment in the life of Fannie was her being named the valedictorian of the Sonora High School class of 1942. She later attended business school in San Angelo, Tx. Fannie married Bill Wade of Eldorado, Tx. on September 18, 1946.
