Joyce Jean Redwine, 83, passed away November 5, 2013. Joyce was born in Cromwell, Oklahoma, to Jim and Beatrice Taliaferro on October 21, 1930. Her familyfollowed the oilfield work to Odessa, Texas, where she grew up. There she met the ”Love of her life and soulmate”, J.D. Redwine.

Joyce has been a resident of Eldorado for over 50 years. She was a devoted wife and loving mother to her children and a member of the First Methodist Church. She is leaving behind a legacy of family and its values. She will be forever in our hearts.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years J.D.Redwine, sisters Wanda Camp and Delores Ingram, a brother Harold Taliaferro, and son-in-law Fred Tamayo. She is survived by her children Sheila and son-in-law Mike Prater of Eldorado, Jeanie Tamayo of San Antonio, and Michael Redwine of Midland; grandchildren, Sam Prater, Kristina Prater, Lance St. Germain, Rebecca St. Germain and Kyle Tamayo; great-grandchildren Kathryn Fowler, Kameron Prater, Kolton Prater, Kyle Prater and Logan Prater; also, many nieces and nephews and special care-giver and friend, Rosemary Factor.

Graveside services were held at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens on November 8, 2013.
