Eldorado– On May 5, 2013, the Lord opened his arms and took our sweet Brian T. Laux home after a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). Brian was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, grandson and friend. He was born in Stamford, NY on August 19, 1964 to Thomas M. Laux and Norma Roberts DeBrow. He grew up in Shreveport/Bossier City, LA.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Mildred Roberts and George Laux. He is survived by his soul-mate/wife of 22 years, Pamela S Spigarelli, his three children Ryan Laux (Kristin) of Bossier City, LA, Toya S Henry (Dion) of Inkom, ID and Tasha A. Sangalli (Tommy) Mansfield, TX; two brothers Richard Laux of Bossier City, LA and Chris Roberts (Kim) of Nashville, TN; two step-sisters Sherry Hotaling (David) and Carolyn Ehrhart (Tom) and one step-brother Jim Natale all of Stamford, NY. He is also survived by his mother, Norma DeBrow (Gene) of Bossier City, LA, his father, Tom Laux (Carol) of

Stamford, NY, four grandchildren, one grandmother, Ann Ryder of Albany, NY, and a host of loving friends and family.

He graduated from Parkway High School in Bossier City, LA. He loved to fish, watch baseball (LA Dodgers), metal detect and cook. He worked as a pumper in Schleicher County.

His gift was helping others while making them laugh. Brian was baptized on Sunday, April 7, 2013  the First United Methodist Church in Eldorado.

A celebration of his life will be held at the FUMC of Eldorado, Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 10:30 am, and on June 1 at 10:30 am at Outlook #1 on the river across from Century Tel in Bossier City, LA.
