Arnie Lee was born on February 28, 1940, in San Angelo, Texas and departed from this life in the home of his niece surrounded by his loved ones.  Arnie Lee was a prominent rancher most of his life, but his real passion was horse racing.  In his younger years he and his family moved around until they finally settled in Eldorado where he spent most of his years and graduated from Eldorado High School.  He went to SAC now known as Angelo State University and Sul Ross State University.  He moved to Dallas and Austin for a short time before starting his ranching career.  Arnie Lee was very successful with his horses and they were his one of his life’s passions.  Arnie Lee was a very caring and compassionate person and would give the shirt off his back to help someone.  Arnie Lee loved going to new places and meeting new people.  He had the amazing ability to walk into a room and make friends with everyone.  He was a favorite Uncle, brother, nephew, and cousin to many, all whom loved him dearly for his warm smile and fun nature.  Arnie Lee continued to be a warm and loving person who maintained his friendships with many wonderful friends and family members throughout his life. We will miss his unique way that made you feel special and loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnie and Bessie Westbrook.  Survivors are his Aunt Nannie Pope of San Angelo, sister Myrtie Burke and her husband Ed Burke of Southlake, TX,  Niece Elizabeth Luttrell of Shreveport, LA and her daughters Miranda and Rachel Baker, Nephew Joe Luttrell of Eldorado, TX, Niece Lynda Mullan and her husband Brendan Mullan of Southlake, TX, and their daughters Taylor and Courtney Mullan of Southlake, TX.  He was also survived by Aunts, cousins, and loving friends here in Texas as well as throughout the US.
