Mary Frances Cavaness (Cissi) age 49, went to be with her Lord on February 8, 2012 after a life long battle with Diabetes. Cissi was the second of four daughters born July 3, 1962 in Junction, TX to the late Dale Cavaness and Betty Cavaness O’Daniel.

Cissi was raised in Eldorado. She moved to Lovelady Texas in 1993 and was employed with the Texas Department of Corrections until disabled by Diabetes. In 1998 she was the recipient of the first successful kidney transplant in Tyler, TX. In 2003 she returned to her hometown of Eldorado.

Her greatest love was her only child, Torin. Cissi had a great sense of humor and always a smile on her face. She was a treasure to her family and all who knew her.


Survivors include her mother and step-father Betty and Glenn O’Daniel of Waxahachie, TX; son Torin Robledo and wife Shaye of Houston, TX; sisters Lynn Holsey and husband Zack of Eldorado, TX, Shelly Phillips and husband Kenneth of Eldorado, TX, Vikki Cathey and husband Rickey of Eldorado, TX; step-brother Jeff O’Daniel and wife Julie of Blanchard, OK; Niece Holly Holsey-Sanchez; Nephews Brandon Holsey, Bobby and Justin Phillips, Ryan, Russell, and Rance Cathey, and Justin O’Daniel; precious granddaughters Kelsey and Brylie; and special friends, Patsy Kellogg, Becky Lux, Becky Sellers, George Arispie and Frankie Jacobson.

Service was Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Eldorado Cemetery Chapel.
Arrangements were by Kerbow Funeral Home.
