A 14 year-old boy was injured Friday, December 10, 2010, at the YFZ Ranch near Eldorado. The youth was flown directly from the ranch to a San Angelo hospital by AirMed-1 helicopter after being injured by a “skid steer” front-end loader.
Dr. Lloyd Barlow reportedly met Deputy Kevin Herbert at the YFZ gate to explain the incident after local authorities were contacted by AirMed-1 personnel asking for landing coordinates.
Nothing more is known of the incident or the youth’s condition.
