Hernandez heads to State
 Eagles powerlifter Edward Hernandez will be making a trip to the State Power Lifting Meet in Abilene, March the 24th. Hernandez placed 4th at the Region 1, District 3 Final meet held in Sundown on March 10. Hernandez’s total was 860 lbs in the 114 lb Weight Class. His total at Regionals surpassed his state qualifying weight of 850 lbs.

Junior High Plateau Relays
Eldorado Middle School hosted the Junior High Plateau Relays Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Ribbons were given instead of medals. The Success was given only places for the relays, with no times and no other results in other races.
Teams participating were Ozona, Christoval, Eldorado, Sonora, and Miles.
In Field Events, Eldorado’s 7th Grade girls team won 1st place with a score of 51. Eldorado 8th grade boys team won 1st place and 7th grade boys placed 5th. Eldorado 8th grade girls team place last.
