Center Point loss just a hiccup in Eagles playoff run
The Eldorado Eagles baseball team hit a slight bump in the road last week with a 7-6 loss to the Pirates on their home field in Center Point. But, the Warbirds wouldn’t allow the loss become a slump as they battled back for a 16-5 win over Medina in Eldorado. The narrow loss to Center Point on Friday, April 9, came despite a valiant comeback effort in the 6th and 7th inning where the Eagles briefly held a 6-4 lead. But, the Pirates staged a comeback of their own and plated three runs in the bottom of the 7th to take the 7-6 win.
