Olga Lee (Pat) Gentry, 83, passed away May 5, 2013 at Pecan Manor Nursing Home in Kennedale, TX.

She was born March 14, 1930 to Carl Patterson and Lorene Barton in Wills Point, TX. Olga married Willard (Bill) Gentry on December 24, 1959 in Greenville, SC. After Bill’s retirement from the Air Force, they settled in Eldorado, TX to raise their family.

Olga loved sewing, quilting, baking, and bowling. She operated Pat’s Sew n Sew in Eldorado for a number of years and loved making hand-sewn items and attending craft fairs. She was active in the women’s bowling league and participated in several Senior Olympic Games.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her daughter, Linda Tyler; and her sister, Carlene Colquitt. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Hansen and husband Brian, of Arlington, TX; her sister, Shirley Valentine and husband Loyd, of Edgewood, TX; her granddaughter, Taylor Wooley, of Statesboro, GA; along with several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Eldorado Cemetery Chapel at 11 am. Burial will follow at the Eldorado Cemetery.
