Janice Baker Ratliff, age 83, of San Angelo passed away Monday, December 29, 2008, at Shannon Medical Center. Graveside service was Wednesday, December 31, in the Eldorado Cemetery in Eldorado, Texas, directed by Kerbow Funeral Home. The Reverend Joe McGee, pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Eldorado, officiated.Janice was born July 12, 1925 in Eldorado, Texas.

Her parents were Leslie L. and Zeila Baker. She married James Thomas (J.T.) Ratliff in Eldorado on April 28, 1945. He died on September 10, 1994. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of San Angelo, attended school in Eldorado, and Metropolitan Business College in Dallas, Texas.

She had been employed at Crane Company in Dallas, Goodfellow Field in San Angelo and First City Bank of San Angelo. She retired from First City in 1987 after 41 years of service. She worked in various departments and retired as assistant vice president. Survivors include her sister, Danell McCormack of Eldorado; nephews, Karl McCormack of Ballinger; Kyle McCormack and wife, Medley, of Odessa; and Keith McCormack and son, Cody, of Eldorado.
