ELDORADO — Mary Williamson Nolen, 62, left for her eternal home in Heaven on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, in Eldorado, Texas. Mary was born July 12, 1948, in San Angelo, Texas to George Williamson and Mary Katherine Camp Williamson. There she grew up and graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1966. She married the love of her life, Roger Keith Nolen, on February 9, 1970, in San Angelo.
Mary was a lifelong Baptist and became a member of First Baptist Church of Eldorado shortly after moving there. She touched almost everyone’s life in Eldorado, especially children. She loved children and taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. Mary was a piano teacher and involved in the Mother’s Day Out program at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado, Texas.
Mary passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her husband and loving children.
She is survived by her husband Roger Keith Nolen, children David and Brandi Nolen of Hawaii, Stephanie and Cody Wheeler of Comstock, Texas, and Dustin Nolen and his fiancé Cara Lordo of Del Rio, Texas; grandchildren Madi, Wyatt, and Colton. More survivors include one sister Katherine Arth of Ellicott City, Maryland and a brother George Williamson of Galveston, Texas; several nephews and nieces as well as great nephews and nieces. She also loved her special dogs, Laddie and Cindy.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Eldorado, Texas. Graveside service is immediately following the funeral service. Arrangements will be made by Kerbow Funeral Home in Eldorado, Texas.
