ELDORADO - Agustina Servin Rodriguez, 83, of Eldorado went to be with her Heavenly Father April 5, 2011. A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2011, at the Agape Assembly of God at 401 W. Murchison Ave. Agustina was born Aug. 28, 1927, to Anastasio and Micaela Servin in Mexico.
She was married to Pomposo Rodriguez Sr. in August 1942. They were happily married for 60 years. Agustina was a lifelong member of Getsemani Assembly of God. Her pastor was Peter Thornton. To her family, she was affectionately known as "Welita." A dedicated homemaker, who's deep faith in the Lord inspired her family and loved ones. Always with a kind word, a gentle touch and always a warm meal. She knew no strangers, her kitchen had an open door, a meal made with love for all who entered. Generous to those in need.
ELDORADO-Billy Jack Reynolds, 85, of Eldorado, passed away at home on Thursday, March 31, 2011. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 4, in Eldorado Cemetery. Billy Jack was born on March 30, 1926, in Irion County to Charles M. and Minnie Clark Reynolds. He graduated from Eldorado High School in May, 1943, and joined the Navy in the fall of 1944. After being discharged in 1946, he returned to the family farm where he resided the rest of his life.
ELDORADO - Lawrence (Dutch) Dannheim, 76, passed away on April 2, 2011, at Robert Lee Care Facility. Graveside Funeral Services were 2 p.m. Monday, April 4, in Eldorado Cemetery. Lawrence was born June 24, 1934, in Eldorado, Texas, to Harvey and Emma Dannheim. Lawrence was a honorable husband to Oretha Powell Dannheim. They married Aug. 31, 1956, in Eldorado, Texas. Lawrence was preceded in death by Oretha on Aug. 31, 2007.

Zelma (“Zee”) Allene Hickman passed away on the evening of March 17, 2011. Zee’s service will be held at 2:00 pm on April 2nd at the Eldorado Cemetery Chapel in Eldorado, Texas. Zelma was born Dec. 1, 1925 in Stephenville, Texas to Ona Florence Holley. She married Marvin Hickman of Mer edes, Texas in 1943. They lived in El Campo, Texas raising their two sons.
Zelma was active in the ElCampo First United Methodest Church where she taught Sunday School. Zelma worked at Connie’s Studios with great enjoyment, and she was very close to the owners and employees who were like family to her. In El Campo, Zelma and Marvin were also active in the local Square Dancing scene.
Irma Day, 91, passed away on March 9, 2011 in San Angelo.Irma was born in Thomaston, GA on April 28, 1919. In 1945, she married Ralph Day of New York and moved to Midland, TX, where she began her career as a registered nurse. After her husband died in 1966, she pursued her Master’s and became a nursing instructor at Odessa College.She is survived by her children, Graeme Day, Gordy and Angela Day, and Dawna Day of San Angelo; her sisters, Phyllis Gilbert, and Cecil and Gene Day of Thomaston, GA; grandchildren, Larson Day, Annalisa Day, and Lorelei Day of San Angelo. Graveside service was Friday, March 11 in Midland, TX. The family wishes to thank Dr. Denver Marsh for years of care and Dr. Powell for recent care of Irma.
