Rachel Kate Joiner

Thursday, 12 March 2009 00:00

Rachel Kate Joiner, 21, unexpectedly joined the Lord along with her beloved brother Travis on March 6, 2009. She was born March 30, 1987 in San Angelo, Texas.

Rachel was a beautiful young lady with a happy spirit and glowing smile. She was full of life and always ready for the next adventure. She freely gave of her time, talents and money to those in her circle of life. She was comfortable being her own person and didn’t mind standing alone. Her joy was complete in her role as both big and little sister to the brothers she adored.

Rachel grew up in Eldorado, Texas. She loved life on the farm, especially the peace and solitude that country life offered. She loved and nurtured all the animals including pets, strays and wildlife. Cats were her favorite and she was always prepared for just one more.

As a little girl and into her elementary years she enjoyed dancing, dressing up for dance recitals, gymnastics, school and rides in the toy jeep with her big brother. Rachel was very close with both sets of grandparents. The time and love they gave her when she was young was returned to them as they grew older.
