Little Eagles Flag Football

Eldorado has their first flag football team ever. The Little Eagles are in the 4-6 years age group, no team was gathered for the 8 and under age group.

The Little Eagles have their games on Saturdays in San Angelo at the Texas Bank Sports Complex. The games consist of two halves roughly adding  up to a 30 minute game.

Upcoming games are scheduled for October 6 at 10:30 am against the Cowdogs; October 13 at 9:00 am against the Cowboys; October 20 at 9:45 am against the Wall Hawks and their last game is October 27 at 11:15 am against the Christoval Cougars.
Everyone is encouraged to come out and cheer the Little Eagles on for as when they grow older we just might be cheering for them on Friday nights!

 

Nestor Hernandez Top Fund Raiser

Tiffany and Nester Hernandez competed in an 8K run on Sunday, September 16, 2012, in San Antonio to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. They ran in honor of Sgt. Saenz, Sgt.  Rodriguez, Cpl “V” and LCpl Jackson.

Nester was recognized as the top fund raiser in the nation with a total of $2,415 in donations. The mission of the WWP is to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members. The project also helps provide direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.     — COURTESY PHOTO

A San Antonio man has been arrested and charged in the murder of an Arizona woman whose nude body was found Sept. 2nd on a rural road in western Edwards County.

 

Tabernacle Experience in San Angelo

From Saturday, September 22nd to Monday, October 1st, a full replica of the Tabernacle of Moses will be open to guests at the corner of Main Street and U.S. 87 in San Angelo. The fully interactive exhibit has seven stations that lead visitors through an Old Testament journey that is formative as well as informative.
